Stumble is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at support@trystumble.com.

• Account data. Your email address, display name, and password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Location data. Coarse and precise location recorded only while you have a night actively tracking, used to map your route and identify the venues you visit.
• Activity data. Drink logs, check-ins, night duration, distance walked, streaks, and other stats you create in the app.
• Social data. Friend connections, requests, and anything you choose to share with friends.
• Device and diagnostic data. Device model, OS version, app version, crash reports, and basic usage events used to keep the app working.

We do not collect health records, payment card numbers, contacts, photos, or microphone data. We do not buy data about you from third parties.

• Run the core features: routes, drink logs, stats, streaks, and friends.
• Keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
• Fix crashes and improve performance.
• Answer your support emails.

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not run third-party ad trackers in the app.

We process your data to provide and improve the app, to keep your account secure, and to respond to support requests. We record location only with your permission while a night is actively tracking; you can withdraw that permission at any time in your device settings.

Location is recorded only while a night is actively tracking. We do not track you in the background between nights, and we do not keep location history you did not choose to save. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Without it, route mapping will not work, but the rest of the app still does.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: cloud hosting and database providers, our authentication provider, map and geocoding providers, and crash and analytics tooling. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Data you choose to share with friends in the app is visible to those friends. Nothing is public by default.

We process and store data in the United States through our service providers. By using the app, you agree to this processing in the US.

We keep your account and activity data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our production systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, except where we must keep records to comply with the law.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfect, so we also try not to collect what we do not need.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Delete your account and all associated data from the app's settings. If that fails, email us and we will handle it within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Stumble is not for anyone under 18, or under the legal drinking age where you live, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
